Actually it just occurred to me, I would be able to connect an
unmodified FED 220VAC projector anywhere in the house!
(not only in the kitchen, or laundry room).
That's because most homes in the province (Quebec) are
heated by 220V (actually 240V) electric baseboard heaters.
That means I can project in any room of the house! :)
Although I would have to disable the thermostats.
The projector would also be 99% efficient since the projector
would serve a double purpose as a heater in the winter (maybe
I should just replace all the baseboards with FEDs!).
Reason why there is a high percentage of electric
heating (hydro generated ) is because we have one of the
cheapest rates in North America.
P.S. Anyone have cheap FED projectors for sale? ;-)
