Ok, now that I've had a chance to check, what I have is Packet No.
B663. The first reel is shots from Apollo 8. Reels 2 and 3 are from
Apollo 11. On reel 3, the following shots:
3) Astronaut Aldrin's First Moon Step
4) Armstrong Reflected in Aldrin's Face Plate
5) Aldrin and the U.S. Flag on Moon
6) Aldrin Displays Seismograph on Moon--LM in Background
all have the note:
Non-stereo photographs, the first taken on the Moon's
surface, have been included due to historical importance.
I wonder if they re-issued the set with artificially generated stereo
on these shots. As far as I know, these were NOT stereo shots
originally.
Is it still possible to get a copy of this later set? Anyone know
how?
Thanks,
