I just bought two Ricoh KR-10M's on ebay and paid $89.00 for
one with a 50mm Pentax lens and $105.00 for one with a 70-
200mm Promaster, Ricoh Speedlite Flash, and case. I have yet
to check out the synch (I have made a twin release for the
electronic shutter socket) but everything else is near perfect
on both. I have run film through each and they are fine.
Now I just need to find two matched lenses. I am opting for
135mm if anyone has a source.
There are several listed on eBay now (both KR and XR so search
on both) and they always seem to come around.
Speaking of the shutter release, I have found a great way to
do this rather easily. It uses a system of power adpater cords
and plugs from Radio Shack. I use this system for my RBT as
well. If anyone is interested I can either let you know part
numbers or I would be willing to make them for you. It does
take a little soldering for the release button and you have
several choices there (click open - click close for timed bulb
shots or simple momentary switch for just a release).
everything is modular and can be switched and expanded (in
case you want to go from a one foot base to a twenty foot
base). Anyway contact me at the address below.
That's all for now,
