using the CD.  By that time, the CD may very well have gone the way
of the 8-track tape or even the Edison wax cylinder, two recording 
technologies that, today, are very difficult to use.

Digital images are probably the most fragile of all the images that
we take or save.  The technology changes so quickly these days, that
I suspect the CD ROM will be completely replaced by a newer and more 
efficient recording medium in as little as 10 years or so from now.  
But who really knows.

It still was nice to be able to put some stereo in a time capsule.
