It won't exactly be the mother of all 3D wars... I've never seen it
argued that the Nimslo with its excellent glass lenses and
autoexposure isn't a superior camera to the Nishika. My
understanding is that the Nishika was essentially a multi-level
marketing scam, complete with a lead weight and simulated LCD. I'd
still probably grab one for $30 though. --

Are you sure about that? I've mounted dozens of Nimslo images in 4P
Spicer mounts, and while there isn't a lot of vertical leeway I
haven't had a problem with the image not filling the mount. I also
use the space in between the Spicer's apertures to save the Nimlo's
two middle images for future lenticular printing options. I just got
back my first roll of ProviaF400 shot in my Nimslo. Before anyone
throws out one of these cameras or hacks them apart for the lenses
I'd suggest trying a roll. I was especially happy with the warm even
lighting of the indoor flash shots. At the 400 setting the camera is
able to use smaller apertures and faster shutter speeds, and the
images are sharp with negligible grain. Jim Harp
