I have a realist 45, and I obtained a (new, but cheap--about $10) 30mm UV
filter to try out on it.  It fits great.  And the stereoscopy.com info on
the iloca rapid indicates that it takes a 30mm filter too.

My filter is a Japanese one, says "Crystal Optics" on the box, and for that
price I doubt it's coated.  Some nice multicoated ones can be had for
$25-$45 each.

Which do you have, John, a '45' or an Iloca?  I'd like to find one of the
latter myself.
