My only stereo camera is the TDC Vivid so I can't
offer any comparisons.  However, it has been a great
camera for me.

I bought the camera at a pawn shop over 30 years ago
when I was looking for a 35 mm camera.  I didn't realize
what a future good deal this camera would turn out to be.
The pawn shop owner pushed this cheap camera off on
me because he couldn't sell it to any one who was
knowledgeable about cameras.

I did take the camera apart and install a standard flash
socket in place of the little button flash connector so I
could use a standard strobe with the unit. I have now
gone a step farther and made a bracket to hold a hot
shoe attachment so I can use my good flash on this
camera and my regular 35mm camera.

Since I now mount my slides myself, the overlap between
frames is sometimes an inconvenience.  They only overlap
just a small fraction of an inch but when the frames are
dark shots it can be tough to locate the proper dividing
point.
