I would like to point out that the reason the TDC Vivid
was designed with a lens spacing of 65mm was not to obtain
a better match to the average human eye-spacing (Paul did
not say this but someone might think this is the case)
but because the camera was originally designed for the
7 perforation format (like the Belplasca).
When it became clear that the Realist format had taken
stereo photography by a storm then TDC Vivid designers
modified the film path to obtain 5p format while the lens
board and other critical parts were already designed for
65mm lens spacing. This info comes from Wolfgang and
Mary Ann Sell's earlier photo-3d postings.

I believe this slight overlap is common in most 5p
cameras and not characteristic of the Vivid or a result
of the unusual film threading of the Vivid.
