Here's an enlargement showing the circuit board with the top off the camera.

The added resistor is visible at the left, peeking out of heat shrink tubine, 
and the second connection point is visible on the right.

I enhanced the image, but you still have to look closely. The connection is on 
the forth band of the circuit board to the right of the resistor connection.
