[photo-3d] DepthCharge 2.0 beta problems

I'm wondering if anyone has had good success with the current 
DepthCharge beta plug-in under Windows 2000 and IE 5. I 
realize there are many variables in terms of browser software 
versions and what's been added to the OS, but I hit a dead-end 
recenctly, which means other people may have similar trouble. 
Errors were coughed up and jps files wouldn't load. I also find 
that IE 5 in W2K doesn't handle the 1.2 version DepthCharge 
software but Netscape 4 does. I guess that IE 5 expects an 
ActiveX component that it's not finding, and I can discover no 
way to clue the program in about what to do with a particular 
MIME type. Fwiw, I  didn't like that the DepthCharge 2.0 stand 
alone viewer doesn't seem to allow multiple instances, and that 
the Tab key toggle to display viewing info is gone. Plenty 
frustrating, hopefully just for the time being; not welcome 
progress. Any remedies?   :>)
