[photo-3d] First Stereo Picture...

Sharing this image should almost carry a warning... ;-)

Several people mentioned that they thought it would be nice to see
other's first works to encourage folks new to the hobby that there is
room for improvement, etc. Well, I doubt anyone can possibly present a
worse first image than mine, so it should encourage someone!?? ;-)

I dug this image out as I have been unpacking boxes and was amazed how
many problems it has... terrible window violations, too much
disparity, too much motion in the subjects, etc.... I knew NOTHING
about 3D at the time, and was tickled pink to be able to see ANY depth
information. From there I worked on eliminating motion of images
between images, on to making my first twin rig, etc...

It was not until the Amateur Photographic Exchange Club stereo view
exchanges that I began to really learn how to "fine-tune" the card
making process and now I understand how to create cards that don't
"hurt" to look at... I owe much to that group, this group and various
others... To anyone starting out in 3D, don't give up... Ask
questions, and accept criticism of your work as this will help you
improve! I will post some new works in a few days to show the
difference 9 years can make!
