Good morning:

I'm just catching up on my email and I got interested in John's provocative
question. I have given it a lot of thought and believe that the best hub
for referrals to stereo clubs and individuals is the NSA. I wish the NSA
site had a page like the one on http://www.stereoscopy.com/clubs/index.html
, only maintained. I have personally requested an update of the CSC
information 9 times over the past 18 months. I never get a responses and
the information never changes. The meeting place, president, contact
numbers are all wrong. Any central site would have to be maintained so it
had accurate information.

I know that Mary Ann and Wolfgang are very busy and may not have the time
for such a project. It could be someone else who maintained this page for
the NSA site. At CSC, we have an activities director who maintains the
calendar of events independently from our webmaster. This divides the labor
and is working very well. If someone could take on this project for NSA,
there could be voluntary links to this referral page from all of the other
sites having anything to do with 3D. The link could say something like:

"Interested in meeting and exchanging information with other 3D enthusiasts?
Contact NSA to find out about local clubs in your area." CLICK HERE

This would certainly benefit local clubs, should lead to an increase in NSA
membership, would benefit those making a living via 3D by promoting more
interest and more potential clients.
