[photo-3d] Mount Washington

In Pittsburgh we have a beautiful overlook known as Mt Washington,
overlooking the city and the confluence of rivers called The Point.
I've shot there many times with the Realist, forcing near points into
the frame to add depth to an otherwise flat cityscape. A long level
railing prompted me to take some hypers with a single SLR. So how far do
I slide along the railing....how much seperation? I don't know...but
what I do know, based on using the circles in the viewfinder, I'll get
the results I want first....then I'll measure off the seperation in the
event someone asks? :-)
Another OSPS winner called " Civilization" was the result. But I only
took 2-3 pairs then...why? Very close to infinity I could see a flag
flapping in the breeze. I believed this would be noticible in a viewer,
but perhaps not noticible while projected. This proved to be the
case......lucky guess for me. Not really.........I botched a roll of
similar shots using a single SLR, so I had that experience to draw from.
BTW, the seperation chosen was approx 13ft........how did I measure? I
"walked it off" from my experience measuring carpeting. :-) No math was
harmed during the making of the picture. :-)
