[photo-3d] Single SLR w/Motion

For our OSPS meeting, I am currently ISO a shot I took using a single
SLR, and using adjacent fence posts as tripods, photographed a cityscape
along the river. I recall stopping down and using approx 1/8 sec shutter
speed to soften the water and reduce disparities between frames with
regard to the moving water. This shot was successful, but I'm wondering
if I gave it away.........I cannot locate the image.
If I attempt to reproduce such an image again...what is the likelyhood
of success to eliminate disparities in the water a second time?
Was this successful image a fluke, or can I expect to reproduce the
effect again? I believe the original was photographed on a cloudy day
thus reducing sunlight reflections on the water.
I'm just wondering if I'd be wasting my time......I wanted to show such
a shot at our club meeting as Dr T presents " single camera stereo"
workshop on tues. Thanks.
Mark (if it ain't real good, I throw it away) Dottle
