To avoid having the clouds appear somewhere near your nose, simply take
the stereo pair in the same direction as the clouds are moving.  Clouds
moving left to right?  Take the left picture first, then the right.
Can't tell which way they are moving?  Take three shots, left, right,
left.  Better to waste a frame than to end up with an ugly stereo pair.
This applies not only to hyperstereo but to ordinary slide bar pictures
as well.  The effect of seeing the clouds out beyond the horizon is
often spectacular.
