[photo-3d] Where are you Coming From?

Are you a math, science, or engineering professional that became
interested in photography? Or are you an artist / photographer that
became interested in the science of photography? 
Are you music grad finding an interest in guitar? Or a guitarist
desiring to learn more theory? An artist that becomes a businessman, or
the businessman that pursues art? Where are you coming from? I love to
ask these types of questions, and the answers can be quite remarkable.
:-) I enjoy trying to guess " where people are coming from" and I find
this to be an interesting study. Now here's were I'll make some people
angry..:-) In my opinion, the dicipline that came first is that person's
stronger talent. ( to reduce flames, there are always exceptions like
Dr. T and others) " Photographers" have a better sense of composition
than the scientist, " guitarists" have a better feel than the music
grad....etc. etc.
An interesting stereotype it is....and amazingly accurate in my personal
observations. It's great for folks to have diverse talents and
backgrounds to draw from..........it makes for an interesting mix
defining who they are today.
