 I have a Leitz-Wetzlar viewer which receives the uncut 135 film; so it includes double prisms providing the transpositin of the 2 half format pictures. these pictures are delivered by a Leica camera fitted with a stereo adapter ( 2 lenses). If the Zeiss-ikon wiever on eBay receives stereo pairs in 2x2 mounts, one can suppose that transposition has not been operated before mounting the chip. And this wiever probably insures transposition, but the best should be to look at its picture! 
 Anyway, 400$ appears relatively expensive in my opinion.
