Perhaps double achromats can be significantly better than
simpler arrangements, when comparing similar focal length
oculars. An earlier point in this thread concerned the
advantages of larger diameter, regardless of focal length.
Do you have a viewer with 35mm focal length lenses that is
also fine for 7p European format, flat and sharp from corner to
corner, and no problem for people wearing glasses? Even if 5p
were the maximum covered, many people would jump at the
chance to have high quality "ortho" Realist viewers. Can you
offer construction details of the oculars that could achieve this?
I thought this was a kind of "holy grail" of Realist format
viewers.
