I wouldn't be surprised if 25 megapixel digital imaging devices 
were common in less than a decade (safe bet?). Given the rate 
of progress, it won't be long before film is used for its "flavor" 
rather than its quality, imho. I believe that right now, many wet 
process darkrooms are being abandoned for their digital 
equivalents.
