Meaning the f3.5 model (the f2.8 model has a faster shutter as well, 
although I've seen this matching of f/stop and shutter speed not
always fall in step).

Yes.  Awkward to use, but when learned works fine, and they usually are
reliable.  $200 is  probably a good price for one
that has a local-store's warrantee.  If it's the f3.5 model, I'd rather
it be one of the later ones that have the double-exposure interlock
(a little pull-out thingie on the top left rear of the camera).

Kodak is much more user-friendly, and when you look at the resulting
slides I don't know that you would be able to tell them apart.  If you
wanted to run over each camera with your truck, pick the realist.

Neither.  Two separate 35mm images, but they aren't full-frame.  They're
the standard "height" on the film but 5/8'ths as wide (each).

No

Yes.  There are some sources, or used to be for having "realist format"
mounting done for you, but not usually from your local processor.
