[photo-3d] Taxiphote

I just purchased what I thought was a Richards Taxiphote. The outside has a label that says
LE TAXIPHOTE 
STEREO-CLASSEUR
DISTRIBUTEUR-AUTOMATIC
Breveute SHDG
It also has instructions in Frence. The slide movement lever is on the right and the counter is in the left side. the item looks exactly like the one pictured in Paul Wings Book. There are two slide drawers in the front protected by a locked door.
The inside looks just like the 1st model by Jules Richard. 
The bottom brass plate is engraved: Richard Freres
                                                                  Constructeurs Brevetes
                                                                         Paris
                                                                        11650 
There is an RF Crest engraved on the bottom plate also. The glass slide is 6x13cm .
Can anyone give me any clues as to who Richard Freres was? Is this an imitation. I paid big bucks for this and hope I wasen't taken.
