I tried looking through a pair of these in a store the other day,
just holding them in my hands, but couldn't quite get the
rotational and subject alignment dialed in so I couldn't fuse the
images. The store also had small lens/mirror kaleidoscopes
(where you see a tessellation of whatever you look at), but I
couldn't get a pair of these to work in stereo either. The angular
adjustments need to be just right for decent results, it seems.
