Only if designed correctly, and the subject(s) being viewed were
stereoscopic. One such design would have an "image combiner" (opposite of
an image splitter) at the far end of the v-mirror tubes. More complex
configurations to allow for narrower interaxials are possible too.

Yes. I have done this, fitting a pair of these to the lenses on my dual
camcorder rig.
