Several members wrote about the insufficient brightness of their projector, which use 115 v lamps.
But people knows that these bulbs have large filaments and a poor optical efficiency !
A big improvement consists in changing the mains bulbs to small Q.I.lamps running on 24 or 36
 v (250 or even 400 Watts)
This results in a strong drop in overheating and a better light focus on the lenses.
this modification can be brought on projectors as the TRIAD. As the power supply is quite different, the transformer (or 2 transformers) cannot be included in the projector itself, and must be housed in a separate cabinet. But, it's worth trying !
