I don't know how good your eyesight is, but there's no "smooth flow"
between objects in real life. Objects have, for all intents and purposes,
hard edges and sharp definition from other objects. Obviously things like
clouds and smoke are exceptions, but for the most part, things are well
defined.
If you don't see things this way, it's no wonder you don't like Kodachrome.
