Yes, I still have Jim Norman's viewer... Once a viewer gets into the 
"black hole" (my basement), stays there for a while.  :-)

But, good news:

I am done working with it... Conclusion:  Someone had done a sloppy
repair of the electrical system (which is very robust in this viewer).
One wire got disconnected (due to poor soldering job) and caused a
sort that almost hurt Jim and his house.

The sellers statement: "Please do not get me wrong, but I strongly 
believe that you regretted the $115.00-bid from the beginning."
really bothers me as it shows mistrust without any grounds.  I believe
he is responsible for paying the repair bill... a very low $35 :-)
for a lot of (sometimes frustrating) work, plus replacement parts.

I have written a book on the Realist Green button book, telling you
everything I know about this viewer.  The book comes with a new
reflector ready to install to brighten up your viewer.  Only $20 and 
I will pay postage in the USA or International (book surface rate).

Also, I carry very bright AC bulbs for only $4 ea. plus postage.
