I think everyone will be interested in this exchange of email with
Ebay.  It has to do with listing View-Master reels that have on the
edge  'Not For Resale'.

prohibiting the offering of infringing materials. Because the auction was
ended early, you as a bidder are not required to complete the transaction.

extensively on this subject and am published.

I do not understand why you with drew this item as it is long past its 
copyright date.

This item has been selling on the open market for over 20 years.

means the item may not be resold.  We do not allow items to be listed on
eBay that may be questionable in nature.

View-Master did the "Not for Resale" to separate the reels it gave away from 
the reels it sold.

I think you folks should revaluate your position on View-Master items.  It 
appears you are trying to be an expert on everything.  Maybe you need a list 
of advisors who have knowledge in a specific area.

This decision was way off base.

experts on the items that are listed on eBay.  Therefore, we must have 
general rules and guidelines that are followed in all areas by all of 
our community.  It is a matter of eBay policy that items marked "Not for
Resale" may not be listed on eBay.  This policy applies to all items.

Commentary:

If you are going to sell any reels on ebay that are marked 
'Not For Resale' such as 'DR' & 'BC' reels, do not show the
picture of the reel and do not state in your description that it has 
'Not For Resale' on it.
