OK, so now we know George is right and you don't get
distortion in an SEM pair by using a tilt table.

Next question:  If viewer lens focal lengths are supposed
to match taking lens focal lengths to give distortion-free
viewing, what viewing lens focal length do you use if the
taking lens focal length was infinite?

Do you see how much trouble you cause, George?  888-)
