I'd point out two things... first, that Adams and fellow club members
were shooting large format cameras/lenses which suffer resolution losses
at much smaller apertures. Second, while the club was named f/64 (with
all the implications these serious young men of photography in the
1920/30s could muster!), from what I have read by ADAMS f/32 was
typically his limit, with swings/tilts getting him the rest of the DOF
he sought.

Wow, another contribution to Tech 3D... I am going to be a serious stud
with my woman tonight!  888-)
