Kodak has a film specially formulated to be printed from this stock. I don't
recall what it's called. A call to Kodak's professional films department
ought to clear it up.

Motion picture film has to be printed for distribution, usually with a
"timed" inter negative. So, minimal loss is the name of the game. Next time
you go to the movies, pay special attention to the quality of the
film/slides. And, bear in mind that it's already, at best, a print from a
print from the origional.
If you're interested in shooting this stock, try to buy "short ends". It's
what's left over when there's too little film in the magazine to shoot the
next scene. There are places that buy and sell the stuff, and it's really
cheap. Also, I've used this type of film, off and on, for 25 years, and my
earliest negs show no sign of fading.
