T3D Re: printing lents by hand

I once did some work for an engineer who made test diffraction gratingn on
what is called a Ronchii Ruling Machine (SP?). This machine was decades old
and made identical groves, with identical spaceing, completely manually.

My small mill has a table that will allow me to move the work holder
incrementally with ease, and the accuracy is in thousandths of an inch. I
think it would be child's play to make a manual printer.
