I agree, John, that this would be a fair test if I were just flat out
comparing dual vs. single lens stereo. Which, I agree is a good idea in any
event. However, if all I want is to test my thesis; that with dual lens
systems, and in the absence of other depth cues, the brain only recognizes
edge boundaries, wouldn't I want to shoot at some maximum hyperfocal
distance? Have all the targets in sharp focus? Then, maybe see if a more
selective focus will bring in the contour of a sphere. Waddaya think???
