I'll certainly drink to that!  I'm one of those who got beguiled by the
Syquest Syjet removable 1.5 GB drive -- now I could store and back up
those huge high-resolution stereo files I planned on creating!  Only
recently, when I tried to buy some more Syjet cartridges, did I find
that Syquest had gone out of business and NOBODY had any more
cartridges!  I am now the proud owner of a couple of hudred dollars
worth of hardware that is useless for anything but retrieving my old
files, and I won't even be able to do that when I replace the Syjet in
the available slot with something else I can use equally handily for
voluminous back up.  I'll lay you odds that only a few hard to find
collectors, if any, will be able to read old Syjet drives twenty or
thirty years from now.
