Jose,

I think you can achieve what you want using PaintshopPro.

For a single image, the coordinate indicated by the cursor is given in  
the bottom left had corner. If you use 'dropper mode', the R.G.B and I  
value is shown. There is no 'stereo comparator' but you can obtain the  
figures.
You may have to promote a .gif to 16million colours for it to work.

I hope that I'm on the right track.
