Add 1/4% of the focal length for infinity focus. When working closeup,
after focus increase the length by moving the film plane back (not by
extending the lens forward).

I've found the best two developers for my purposes for 4X5 IR to be D76
and Rodinal. Starting points for continuous tube development for a
"normal" scene are:
D76 stock 70F 8 min
Rodinal 1+25 68F 6 min
