Starting point hie film

Could anyone out there give me a starting point for Kodak HIE film.

I wish to use my Nikon F70 camera that has a 28-80 autofocus lens

I have a 25a red filter

Would this combination below work?

Set lens to 50ml,use autofocus
F11 times 125sec and bracket 250, 125,50 ISO
Develop as recommended

Previously I used a standard 50 ml lens with a red filter ( lost that fil=
ter) and bracketed 125 and 250 ISO.Got some good results with 125 ISO . =
I was wondering how a zoom lens would work.

I have tried looking for FAQ and have not been able to find that yet (rat=
her new to this internet thing)
