Dear gang,

I will be off skiing tomorrow, and won't return until January 3rd.
George Smyth will keep an eye on things, and contact my postmaster if 
necessary. But Majordomo has been running error-free as long as I can 
remember, so I doubt it will be necessary.

A WARNING though: do not attempt to change subscription from real
time to digest or vice versa in this period, as 'u_n_s_ubscribe' is handled
automatically, but 's_ubscribe' is subject to listowner approval by
hand....that effectively means you will be dropped off the list until
I return. 
So keep your subscriber status as it is, or you will suffer a lonely
Christmas....<grin>.

Merry Christmas and a Happy Newyear to all of you, and may 1998
bring you many magnificent infrared images!
