Hi;

I too, have had my nightmares with HIE in 4x5. I exposed 50 sheets and had
fingerprints show up on most of the negs. This was the first time I used it in 4x5.
I never had this problem with any other type of film of course. Nowhere in Kodak
literature does it mention that precautions should be taken with handling. I called
and they told me HIE is sensitive to a number of substances more so than standard
b/w films.
Nextime I'm trying those little finger cots you buy in the drugstore that you use
for finger injuries. I think they should help grasp the sheet more easiliy than
standard cotton gloves.
Anyone have any other proven methods for loading and unloading sheet HIE?
Thanks, Tom
