I guess I must be in the minority in terms of being quite satisfied with the
infrared products made by Kodak. Both 35mm, 70mm and sheet film. I have used
all of these formates extensively in pictorial as well as scientific
applications and I have not experienced the problems you describe.

We have a sensitometry lab here in the Imaging and Photographic Technology
department at RIT and I would be happy to independently test materials ...
the fee would be nominal, essentially to hire a senior student who would perfom
the test under supervised conditions. A small (or large) donation to the school
would be welcome as well!                                         

I am quite confident in the quality of the products manufactured by Kodak. Not
so with others.
