UV Fluorescence Photography

Hi everyone,
I just got one liter of yellow fluorescent ink and one
liter of blue flourscent ink from UVP Incorporated
yesterday. The really neat thing about these inks is
that they are invisible to the naked eye, but
fluoresce brightly under UV light. I put some yellow
ink on my face and looked completely normal under
visible light, but under UV light I looked like a
yellowish green Alien!
If anyone on this list goes to a lot of different bars
or amusement parks, you might recognize these inks.
I've been told that bars/clubs/amusement parts use
these inks to stamp your hand. Then when you want to
be readmitted you place your hand under a UV light and
the inks will glow.
I was wondering if anyone on these lists has much
experience with UV fluorescence photography. I have
at my disposal about 20 UV fluorescent light tubes
(black lights), that are 15 watts each for a total of
300 watts of UV light. Although this sounds like a
lot of light, it actually is fairly dim, unless the
object fluoresces. How should I meter a subject lit
by UV light? I don't think a gray card will work
because it looks very dark under UV light. Also what
kind of films would one recommend?
Any help insight would be appreaciated.
Thanks Rolland Elliott
