I did this, too, with Konica in a Mamiya 7II--I metered with a hand
held meter and exposed accordingly; however, those negatives were
bulletproof, and I felt next time I should expose at a minimum EI of 50, and
bracket higher. Oh, I used the 29 filter. I wonder why this was the case
with me? I also, another question, found some of my negs to be very soft
(of course I enlarged to 11 by 14) ; I was using the hyperfocal distance way
of focusing, but think that I shouldn't do so next time, and just make sure
what I want sharp is sharp...any ideas on this?
One last question, in ref to the movie Stigmata that someone mentioned
a while back: if blood coursed out of a statue, warm, as it did in that
movie (I know, I know; it's weird) would it in actuality on infrared be
blacker?? Like veins of blood underneath skin does?
