This is just a crazy idea that I'm throwing out for the many armchair
physicists and experts on this list to dissect.
What if either the tape or the handling gave the film a slight
charge. Not enough to cause the static electricity lightning bolt
defects, but enough that there would be some attraction between the
air bubbles and the film.
I use Patterson tanks. There is certainly some friction in loading it
and it is plastic which would insulate it from the darkroom sink.
Does anyone use metal tanks and get air bubble looking pinholes?
Ignorance or genius?
