hi all,
am going to shoot kodak b/w infrared for the first time and am wondering if
the wood effect is prevalent on pine trees. just a question before i head on
vacation to the pine trees.
thanks,
Troy Reynolds

Hello Troy,

The "wood effect" with pine trees is one of my favourites with Konica film
as the high resolution and contrast really make the needles glow. There is
an example in the List Gallery:
http://ruly70.medfac.leidenuniv.nl/~cor/ir_g_nfa.html-

where there is one of my shots taken in a graveyard. The effect will be
similar using Kodak HIE.

All the best,
