For the most part I don't believe this is true with ebay.  Example, Nikon
70-300G lens that retails for $130 US, was selling as high as $205 on ebay!

ebay is a sellers market, that's why I feel it's ok to post items for sale
to the list, but give us a chance to make you an offer before you go to ebay
with it.
