Greetings to the group!
My main 3D interests are in slides and video. I use an RBT S1 and
Duplex Super 120, and a home-built video system.
Several years ago, I experimented with a pair of Bronica MF cameras on
a slide bar. I used negative film, and made 8 x 10 and 11 x 14 prints
which I mounted "under/over" in special frames. They were viewed by
means of a home made prism device. Unfortunately, the viewer required
standing in a precise spot, which many people found to be inconvenient.
In 1996, I participated in the "3D Expo 2" traveling slide show, which
was mailed around the world. That was the first time that I ever saw
MF slides through a handheld viewer. I was, and still am 'blown away'
by this medium.
So, when I heard about an MF mailing list, I had to sign up.
Most of my resources are currently invested in my stereo still and
video cameras, projectors and editing system. However, MF is
definitely in my future.
More details about my personal 3D history, and image galleries, are
documented at my web-site:
