What about replacing the Rolleidoscop lenses with modern
optics? Does anyone know if this is possible? What kind
of performance enhancements could be expected? What would
John B's math tell us about the actual improvements in
perceived resolution?
Don Lopp has done quite a bit of replacing of lenses in
various stereo cameras, but I don't know that he has ever
tried it in a Rolleidoscop.
