Also as has probably been mentioned, if one has film as part of the "camera
gear" then one wants to have them as carry-ons, not in checked luggage
where they may be zapped by the new seriously-strong security tachion ray
gun machines they use now in (secret) "selected airports".

P.S. - I use a Pelican case to transport my "camera gear". I've taken it
on a plane (once so far).
