As I understand it, the SaturnSlide viewer used to have 40x84
lense. The only 40x80 that I've heard about came from Edmunds.
Alan's SaturnScope for viewing stereocards uses very different
lenses, I believe.

The stock numbers we got from AS&S dropped in half in a
short time. When I later placed an order for not quite
50% of their claimed stock on hand as of the moment I
ordered, they weren't able to ship as many as I ordered
(and many of what they shipped were unusable). When I
called and asked why I got so few, the computer then
showed zero in stock. They went out and physically
confirmed the lenses were all gone. I don't know whether
that means they have a problem with inventory walking away,
or just sloppy accounting.
