I'd like to, but I haven't found a reasonablely priced flash gun for
my Speed Graphic. Unfortunately the Star Weenies are using them to
make light saber toys because one of the light sabers in the original
Star Wars was made from a Graflex flash gun. That and ebay is driving
the price through the roof for those of us who want to use the flash
gun as it was intended to be used.

I just had another miserable (photographically speaking) weekend with
my electronic flash and the Sputnik. Everything came out either
overexposed, or barely exposed. I know the flash (a Pentax AF280T)
works because I've shot a few rools with it on a tripod to verify the
guide number.

On top of the flash pictures being a waste, I had several sheets of
Polaroid fail in the holder (the cardboard packet came out leaving the
film in the holder) while we were at the Vanderbilt mansion in Hyde
Park.

Sigh. At least I got to see the WWI airshow at Old Rhinebeck
Aerodrome. Nothing beats seeing all those aeroplanes and flying in
the open cockpit biplane.
