You know, I never thought about that until you said it.  The film would be
pressed against the rails by the pressure plate, no matter where the
rollers were.  I didn't think that one through.  THANKS!

I've read that as well.  If I had more confidence, I might try it.

The biggest obstacle is the tripod mount connected to the film door.  Huge
frustration.
